S.P.A.R.K. Ministries is a valuable resource for families and individuals in active drug or alcohol addiction, providing advocacy, preventative services, and peer support counseling to each family or client.
We are a bridge between addiction, courts, jails, schools, and rehabilitation centers, accessing recovery tools and services geared toward each specific need of our clients. Peer Support is offered to people with substance abuse conditions on a one-on-one basis. Our Peer Support liaisons are employees of S.P.A.R.K. Ministries and are trained, certified specialists.
If offered Peer Support during your treatment with S.P.A.R.K. Ministries, we provide purposeful support for a set time, which will be agreed upon at an initial meeting and evaluation with our team. The support is based on principles of listening, sharing experiences, and having an equal relationship rather than providing expert or clinical advice.
